Bhutan plays 0-3 to lose first match with Afghanistan in SAFF championship

Bhutan lost to Afghanistan in the first match played in Dasarath Rangalasa, Kathmandu under SAFF Championship 2013 on Monday, 2 September.

Afghanistan scored 3 goals against Bhutan. Despite several good opportunities, Bhutan failed to score any.

The audience, who were mostly Bhutan supporters, were shattered of their hopes when Bhutan failed to score at the penalty given against Afghanistan.

Bhutan will face Maldives on 4 September.
