First Bhutanese resident representative in Bhutan for ADB
The first Bhutanese resident representative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Bhutan has begun his job last week.
Tshewang Norbu presented his credential to the Foreign Minister Rinzin Dorji on Thursday (28 August) at a special cemoreny organised at National Assembly hall.
Prior to his appointment as ADB Resident Representative, he worked for the Department of Public Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Royal Government of Bhutan.
Norbu holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Sherubtse College and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University, New York, USA.
Mr. Norbu is a Bhutanese national and is the first ADB Resident Representative in Bhutan. The ADB Resident Mission Office in Bhutan was inaugurated in February this year.
