Maggi banned in Bhutan

Bhutan has finally banned the contaminated Maggi noodles, produced in India, from selling and displaying in the country.
A notice issued by Bhutan Agriculture and Food Regulatory Authority (BAFRA) reads, ‘the maggi noodles manufactured by Nestle India is being temporarily banned for both display and sale in the country with immediate effect since the source of implicated product is imported from India’.
Following the announcement by Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI) that maggi noodles are unsafe and hazardous for human consumption, Nestle has withdrawn all its noodles from across the stores in India.
