Numa Limbu is Miss Bhutan USA 2015

Numa Limbu from California has been crowned Miss Bhutan USA 2015 at the mega event that concluded on Sunday evening.

Beautician by profession, Limbu is the second crown holder of the title. Prakriti Rai was the first title holder in 2014.

Similarly, Baba Rai has won the tile of Himalayan Singing Icon 2015 while Team Nexus Creation won the competition for Himalayan Thematic Short Movie.

Besides cultural performances by budding Bhutanese artists, Nepalese singers Nima Rumba and Nalina Chitrakar along with Miss Nepal 2011 Malina Joshi were the attraction of the mega event.

The Organisers had earlier announced to dedicate 2015’s Festival to the victims of destructive earthquake in Nepal and intended to raise the fund to supplement the relief and rehabilitation effort by coordinating with volunteer base relief agency in Nepal.
