A senior Bhutanese leader in US missing

A senior Bhutanese-American community leader Padam Rizal, 49, has gone missing from early Friday. Police have intensified the search following family report.

Police in Susquehanna Township (in Pennsylvania) located his vehicle, abandoned on a local bridge spanning the Susquehanna River. Police said he is considered missing and endangered.

Police said Rizal had made plans to meet with family members at 7 p.m. Thursday, but failed to show up for the meeting.

Concerned family and friends then made multiple attempts to locate and contact Rizal, but they were unsuccessful, police said.

Commissioner of the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asia Pacific American Affairs also runs realestate and tax service business

Police have asked anyone with information about Rizal’s whereabouts to contact them at 717-558-6900.
