Belgian envoy makes farewell visit to Bhutan

Belgian envoy to Bhutan and India Pierre Vaesen called on Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and Minister of Agriculture and Forests Yeshi Dorji.
The meeting was a farewell call by the new-Dehi based diplomat who is retiring soon from service.
The Ambassador and his team of two other embassy staffs discussed ways in which Belgium and Bhutan could work together on joint projects in the future such as Agro-foods.
Talks with Prime Minister Tobgay also focused on enhancing bilateral relation between the two countries. PM said that Mr. Vaesen’s tenure as the Ambassador had contributed greatly in strengthening the ties between Bhutan and Belgium.
In the mean time, PM Tobgay also met with the French envoy to Bhutan and former Indian envoy to Bhutan to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation.
