In Memory of Khada Nanda Dhimal

Born on 16 January 1926 in Salami under Chirang districts of Bhutan, Khada Nanda Dhimal spent his early life in his village. Later he shifted to Damphu from where he was forced to leave the country in April 1992.
He had very strong interpersonal bond with friends and relatives and a strong support system for the family.
After leaving Bhutan, he spent 18 years of exiled life at the Sanischare Refugee Camp in Nepal before being resettled to Australia on 6 November 2008.
He happily lived with his seven-member family at his own home in Doonside, Sydney Australia. He passed away on 8 June 2014 while undergoing treatment at the Blacktown Hospital where he was admitted on on 1 June for treatment of Asthma and Pneumonia.
He was married with Tukula Dhimal and had three children.
His funeral was done on 10 June 2014 at Castlebrook Cemetery and Crematorium, Rouse Hill, New South Wales.
