Bhutan requests Sri Lanka for more education support
Bhutan has requested Sri Lankan Government to grant more opportunities for students from Bhutan to study Engineering and Information Technology Degree courses in Sri Lankan Universities.
Bhutanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Pema Choden made this request when she called on Sri Lankan Minister of University Education and Highways Lakshman Kiriella last week.
The Bhutanese diplomat called on the minister to congratulate him for assuming office as Minister of University Education and Highways. They had a cordial discussion during their meeting.
The Ambassador expressed her satisfaction over the facilities granted to the Bhutanese students pursuing highest studies in Sri Lanka.
