Beldangi raises awareness on ability of disabled persons

Exiled Bhutanese in Beldangi have launched programmes to up-skill and strengthen the capacity of the persons with disabilities.

The program was launched amidst a function held at Panchaoti English School in Beldangi II this week. Such annual programmes also aim to raise public awareness about the capability of the persons with disabilities in the community.

The programmes included musical and cultural performances, sports activities and other recreational activities.

There are 453 persons identified with to have some form of physical disabilities in Beldangi and Sanischare camps.
