Durga Puja in Canada

Maritime Bhutanese living in Canada celebrated Durga Puja here in Charlottetown in a huge way along with three-hour cultural presentation.

There was encouraging community participation where they also turned positively for donation drive. According to Madan Giri, the organisers collected around $6,000 during the event that would be invested for community works in future. Around 1,200 people attended our celebration where all Bhutanese community members saw the event standby.
