The Bhutan Watch holds AGM
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the The Bhutan Watch held on 20 December 2025 (Saturday) has elected a new team of leadership to lead the organisation for the next four years.
Netherlands based Ram Karki will continue to lead the organisation as Chairperson, who had been leading the organistion since its establishment in 2019, while US based Ganesh Ghimirey is new Secretary of the organisation.
Devi Katel and Bikram Adhikari, both from Australia, will be new Treasurer and Public Officer respectively.
Ram Karki will also be the new editor of annual The Bhutan Journal, published by The Bhutan Watch. Founding editor Dr Govinda Rizal died in road accident in Kathmandu in 2024 while other founding editor I P Adhikari will formally exit from all active roles in The Bhutan Watch, to pursue his academic and professional career.
The Bhutan Watch is Bhutanese Diaspora think tank registered in Australia.
