DTT’s three candidates
Newly established Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa (DTT) has introduced its first three candidates from Thimphu, Paro and Punakha constituencies on August 27.
Party’s South Thimphu candidate for the upcoming election next year Kinlay Dorjee, 52, who sered as mayor of the capital city for two terms. He lost the contest for seat during last year’s local government election. He was electricity engineer by profession before entering profession.
Sangay Dorji, 46, represents DTT from Lamgong-Wangchang constituency in Paro. He specialises in renewable energy, climate change and environment management. He worked with Ministry of Economic Affairs, Punatsangchhu I and II projects and then in UN Development Programme in Bhutan.
The party named Kinzang Thinley as its Kabji-Talo candidate from Punakha. Thinley, 43, worked with Bhutan Broadcasting Service and as a tour guide.
